Bruno Stefanelli, born on January 2, 1973, is an expert in the field of letters, museum conservation, and bibliographic cataloging, with extensive experience in teaching and enhancing artistic and cultural heritage.
After obtaining a Degree in Literature from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1998, he embarked on a professional career that saw him work in various cultural and educational fields. From 2000 to 2012, he worked at the MIBAC – National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome as a museum technical assistant and librarian, while previously, between 1998 and 2000, he held the position of archivist and librarian at the Institute for Legislative Studies (ISLE).
Since 2012, he has been a tenured Literature teacher at the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), passionately advancing teaching and training in the humanities field.
Alongside his academic career, he has enriched his profile with a specialization in museum and archival fields, obtaining several certifications, including:
• Certification in institutional cataloging of periodicals (2011) at CASPUR, University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
• Curator and photographic restorer (2010) at the Alinari Archive-Museum of Photography, Florence.
• Certification in ISBD/RICA cataloging (2008) at CITICORD, Faculty of Economics and Commerce, University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
• Master’s in History and Multimedia Historiography (2004) at the University of Rome Tre.
In 2012, he obtained the Tourist Guide Certification from the Province of Rome, with proficiency in English.
His experience also extends to research and cultural dissemination. He has contributed to numerous publications, including “Le storie dell’arte” (Electa, 2011), “Fotografia. Le collezioni” (MAXXI Architecture, Electa, 2010), “Il libro come tema, il libro come opera” (Electa, 2006) and many others. Additionally, he participated in the creation of radio projects and exhibitions, including the program “Musicisti e Letterati” for Vatican Radio (2016) and the exhibition “Immagini da Collezione” at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome (2006-2007).
Bruno Stefanelli is bilingual in Italian and English, with excellent skills in French, and has solid experience in using Apple Macintosh and Windows operating systems.
