This module is designed to help tour guides gain greater confidence in communicating with tourists in English. The lessons will be conducted online and will include role-plays to simulate real-life situations, as well as the sharing of vocabulary sheets based on the words learned

Lesson 2

Describing places of interest

  • Useful phrases to describe places of interest
  • Analyzing artworks and monuments
  • Using the past tense to narrate the history of a place

Lesson 3

Interacting with tourists, ending the tour, and handling possible issues

  • Frequently asked questions and standard answers
  • Vocabulary for common problems
  • Giving advice and suggestions in various areas (restaurants, theatres, etc.)
  • Thank-you and closing phrases
  • Encouraging reviews and feedback
